The Darknight avoids the phenomenon of "flashing" of plants.

Plants rich in chlorophyll absorb light in all wavelengths of the visible spectrum except around green.

The Darknight bulb only emits around the 510 nm wavelength of green where photosynthesis does not take place.

The Darknight is a high power halogen bulb with a filter specially designed to allow working in greenhouses and indoor crops during hours of darkness. Thus the life cycle of plants is respected.
